Very helpful classroom management guide. Long, detailed and filled with examples of how to apply the concepts to your class.

Very helpful book! I used this as a textbook for a college course on classroom management. Each chapter offers examples and activities for the user to complete which really helped me understand and comprehend the concepts being taught. Each chapter is very detailed and the reading isn't difficult. It is not filled with psychology or theory language that may be difficult to figure out. It was simple, straight forward and made every concept seem easy to apply. They offer many examples of how to use their ideas so teachers will be successful in the classroom. The authors didn't try to paint some fairytale that if you use their ideas that your classroom will be perfect but they try to give you every strategy and tool necessary to set you up for success.

I bought this for my class on classroom management. Of the books that I read this is the easiest read with short and to the point chapters full of the information that will put you on the right path.
