About the Author
Stacey Leah Mewse was born in 1987 in the old roman town of Chichester in West Sussex in the UK. She is a non-identical twin and is the younger of the two by just one minute. She spent her early years near the seaside town of Bognor Regis, and moved to Cambridge in her younger years. By the time she was of school age she and her family had moved back to West Sussex and were living in a small village near the town of Littlehampton. Fiction has always been Stacey's passion, and she began by writing in the fantasy genre when she was in her mid-teens. Unfortunately her first work was lost to a computer malfunction in the days of the floppy disk, and she was left with only a few scant chapters remaining of this first book. To this day it is an ambition of hers to re-start and finish that first book, but her horror writing is her primary focus. Stacey was introduced to the world of horror at a young age thanks to the likes of R.L Stine, and then the accidental viewing of one of the halloween series at the age of 8 years old. She instantly developed a taste for horror and has never looked back. An avid reader of horror fiction, and watcher of horror films, she was introduced to the world of more adult horror writing by her mother lending her a copy of the magic cottage by James Herbert. After that fateful reading she avidly sought out his work, and he remains one of her favourite authors. Stacey also enjoys the writings of Dean Koontz, Richard Laymon and Stephen King. Primarily interested in supernatural horror, Stacey has a real love for 'creature feature' style books and films. She greatly enjoys blending the unreal elements of this type of writig with real human horrors, which ground the supernatural elemnts of her literature. She also enjoys tackling taboo subject matter, and including day to day realisms in her writing to keep her stories and characters relatable despite the fantasy elements. Not only is Stacey an author, but also a keen animal lover, artist and cancer survivor. She has a passion for unusual animals and is especially fond of hairless pets. She has even been on the committee of the UK xoloitzcuintli club, and designed their breed club logo! She enjoys painting various subjects in various mediums and also likes to craft. Crochet is a particular favourite of hers, make of that what you will! She was diagnosed with cervical cancer and then treated in 2013, and is now thankfully in remmission.

An Enjoyable Read!

I loved the idea of a werewolf serial killer, reminded me of the likes of Peter Stubbe who was believed to have a wolf skin belt that let him transform to commit the horrific acts he was responsible for. The description of the transformation was also very original and gorier than I've come across before, but I thought it was a cool idea to have the body seemingly breaking apart and reforming. Even the skin splits and regrows for these werewolves! An enjoyable read for werewolf fans, worth checking out!

LOVE LOVE LOVED IT!! This book kept me turning the pages and not wanting to put it down!! It had amazing descriptive transformation scenes that really plunge you into the horror of how painful and disgusting a transformation could be. It was filled with well written gore used to perfect effect, not overdone and kept me wanting more!! Absolutely cannot wait for the next one!!

Athol Fugard has been working in the theater as a playwright, director, and actor for more than fifty years. In 2011, he received a Special Tony Award for Lifetime Achievement in the Theatre, and he was the inaugural Humanitas Visiting Professor of Drama at Oxford University. His plays include Blood Knot, Boesman and Lena, Statements After an Arrest Under the Immorality Act, Sizwe Banzi Is Dead, 'Master Harold' . . . and the Boys, The Road to Mecca, My Children! About the Author
Athol Fugard was born on June 11, 1932, in Middelburg, Great Karoo, Cape Province, South Africa. He has written close to fifty plays, as well as four books and several screenplays. His plays include Blood Knot (1961); Boseman and Lena (1969); "Master Harold"...and the boys (1982); The Road to Mecca (1984) and My Children! My Africa! (1989). Many of his works were turned into films: Tsotsi, based on his 1980 novel, won the 2005 Academy Award for best foreign language film. His work spans the period of apartheid in South Africa (imposed in 1948), through the first democratic elections (April 27, 1994), when Nelson Mandela became president, and into the aftermath of the present day. South Africa's best-known playwright, and one of the most performed playwrights in the world, at eighty, Fugard continues to direct and to write plays.

Emily felt a shiver down her spine as she recognised who the voice belonged to.

She looked up and, sure enough, he was standing there happily chatting to Diane. Before she realised what she was doing, she got out of her seat and stormed towards him.
“What are you doin’ ‘ere?!” she said with a snarl.
“Hello to you too.” He replied with a smirk.
Diane’s mouth was hanging open in surprise and her face had paled.
“I’m here to go into that office.” He said, pointing to Mr. Lake’s room.
Emily wondered why he was there to see him and what unfortunate circumstances had him within two feet of her.
“It’s ok Di, everything’s fine.” He said quietly with a wink.
Emily was about to tell him not to speak to Diane when he suddenly turned and walked to Mr. Lakes’ office. He even had the cheek to go straight in!
Emily marched in behind him.
“What the ‘ell are ya doin’?” she asked as Nick went and stood by the desk and pressed the button to turn on the iMac.
“Hi, Emmy. Let me introduce myself. I’m Nick Lake.”

Very well written

The programming languages known as Open Source has always
drawn much attention on me because with this programming language really amazing projects can be
developed, I got this book from a classroom mate, this
book has a lot of basics to understand in a very quick way.

think the guide is very well written and with a semi technical language

I began to see robotics in college, but the truth is that I was not understanding the teacher, so I asked for a little help and a friend recommended me this book, I can say with good base that is a wonderful guide, it contain very useful theory and also brings some information about the assembly of several models of robots, using this guide I could pass my classes and also I started to like robotics, I must say that it's an excellent guide for beginners and novices in the theme; as plus, this pack brings a wonderful programming guide of Open source which is a great programming language, very renown and known worldwide, the guide explain everything from the basics, to the methods of implementation for more advanced functions, making this guide even better and useful because is not only for beginners but also for intermediate students.

I have always been interested in this subject because I find It very exciting to do things using the technology. Robotic has been an advancement for humanity and this has been implemented in many activities done by man and they has been very supportive. My dad gave me this book to gain more knowledge on this issue. Also with this book I learned about Open Source that is a term applied to Software distributed under a license that allows the user access to the software source code and allows you to study and modify It freely, without restrictions on use. This book is very well explained by the writer that makes the reading and understanding easier.

Pregnancy can be like getting married somewhat as we often find that most of the attention is directed towards the woman and when the mother in law gets deeply involved men can sometimes feel that they are being squeezed out of the equation. Not only can this be extremely stressful for the man but it can make him get more distanced from his partner which sadly can be misinterpreted as not caring, especially when mood swings caused by fluctuating hormones are around.

The book is 275 pages long and contains the equivalent of 9 chapters which in this book each relate to each month of pregnancy. Before and after these chapters we find the introduction, the 9.5th month of pregnancy (being overdue) and an epilogue (holding the baby) with a reminder at the end that although it's a roller coater ride it should still be thoroughly enjoyable. Immediately before the index at the back there is a particularly useful glossary section which walks you through the A-Z terminology of the whole process and more.

There are a significant amount of different topics covered and these range from scans, symptoms, premature births, diet, morning sickness, women's hormones, mens hormones and hospital visits to name but a few.

The book is very well written and presents all the information very nicely in small chunks which makes everything much easier to read and remember and this makes it far more enjoyable. Rather than making the whole process sound like a daunting 9 month task it injects humour into the book at certain stages and this is likely to make you more relaxed and give you the impetus to want to continue reading. However when serious and upsetting topics such as miscarriage are discussed the humour quickly disappears with a great deal of sensitivity shown.

To make things even more interesting we find sections called 'Words from your fellow man' - documented experiences of a wide range of men from different backgrounds on different topics. Reading these testimonials is more likely to make you feel that you are not alone and is an useful addition to the book. The 'must does of the month' feature also brings together a wide range of critical tips and this makes them stand out very well from less important information.

In summary I found that the book contained a significant amount of varied and relevant topics and the delivery was first class. The combination of good writing and clever layout structure made the book interesting, enjoyable and very much educational. The book did a grand job at providing men with the tools to be able to cope with the A-Z roller coater ride of pregnancy.

I have bought this book for my husband and he did not read it very much, but he did. A lot of his friends borrowed it. It was universally liked, and it has a lot of necessary facts in it, but also a lot of first hand info, making you feel normal in your own skin. I think its just enough of everything for any future dad.

fantastic, amazing and ground breaking piece of the 21 st century writers

Take a moment and read this book. It is good for your mind. Whether you are in the air flying to Las Vegas for a honey moon, or at home, away from the cold, feeling down; and, want to raise your eyes above your shoulders and glance through the skies, the writer takes you through twists and turns that tradition can give. He further challenges his readers to look beyond everyday troubles, and make life beneficial and more meaningful.

Take a read for a bed time story for your child too. It's all in there. keep up!

Not a Great Read

This story is simply not very good. It's way too earnest and mannered in tone. It suffers from rookie mistakes: constant changes in point-of-view from the protagonist to the omniscient and, frankly, irritating narrator with his aphorisms and homespun wisdom. The writing style appears to attempt the graceful simplicity of the McCall Smith stories but fails. Instead it's just flat. There's no humour here, no irony, and it all gets tedious.

About the Author
