this was pretty good

Told me something I've never known and I incorporated it into my yoga with different moves. This actually soothed a muscle I overstretched that's been sore for a couple of months. So yeah, i really liked this. NOTE:. This is for side splits..... I was born with a type of mermaid syndrome and I wore braces as a child to straighten my legs. The braces tightened my hip bones. For a lifetime I have been trying to be more flexible but to no avail. This helped me the very first time and no soreness. I just tried it and only once but I used it for different moves and I feel better. Will continue because ten percent of something is better than a hundred percent of nothing.

If you follow this to the letter you will be in a perfect split in no time. At first, I was very upset because it is short. Nevertheless it does work! Great job!

This book is aimed at anyone who wants to do splits. The author mentions those who do martial arts, ballet, dance, and gymnastics. The method described requires no special tools or assistance, and the individual, working alone, should be able to perform splits in about two weeks. The book is structured and consists of very short chapters that build step-by-step from basics to advanced topics. Each chapter covers a related topic, defines terminology, includes a photo illustrating the body position, and narrative explanation of how the task is accomplished in step-by-step fashion, how to assess performance, keeping records, with tips and reminders. Chapter topics are basics, isometrics, testing your potential, warm-ups, stretches, side splits, contract and relax training, practice, and leg stretches. Pretty straightforward stuff, well organized and written.
