Poor editing, have read better FANFICS than this. What is this, a porno?

Possible spoilers, I don't know. Depends on your definition.
This book could have been amazing, 5 star worthy. I want to say, I am the gooey, romance type of girl. Especially combined with an irredeemable rock star.
But this book is like 75% sex scenes, and at least half of those are not needed to get the story across. Plus the grammar, incorrect spelling (which here and there I can deal, but did anyone even edit this?) and she would say one thing then contradict it a paragraph later. Also the girl's panties would be to her knees yet she would magically straddle him in the next move.
Details are everything. She paid attention to the wrong details. The sex scenes were graphic, he bit her neck so many damn times she should be bleeding, but yet the important details were thrown by the wayside.
The plot itself was tacked towards the last like 20% of the story as an afterthought almost.
I rarely write reviews, but as an aspiring writer and one who does post her fanfics for reviews and I get GOOD reviews, I know I could do better and have done better than this. So when people like this get published, it irks me to no extent.
In order to get through this you have to like reading a TON of sex scenes. It had such a possibility to be good, but it was went about ALL wrong.

I am so glad I got to finish it

I started this book a while ago and didn't get to finish it because I was healing from surgery. Oh! I am so glad I got to finish it.
The setting is the perfect setting for rock star romances. It takes place in and around Hollywood California. It also is set as part of the rock community there from the beginning. I enjoyed that part because it actually explained how Meg got there instead of having a chance meeting.
The plot is hot...Burning hot. Each page sizzled. However, it was also emotional and hits my feeling just right. As someone who lost a sibling in a similar way as Meg did, Crystal Kaswell got the grieving process right. The grief wasn't thrown together and patched up but addresses it. I appreciate that more than I can say. The emotional backstories of these characters add to the plot and make it a work in perfection.
The oh so yummy characters made me fall in love with them. Meg or Megara (Love her name, by the way) is real. She has real problems like school and as I have mentioned real grief. She isn't a conventional beauty but definitely a beauty. Miles is mouth watering and like Meg, he's real. He may be a rock star but his problems are heartbreaking. I adored Kara. My sister's name is Kara so there was already an emotional attachment to the name but the character is bad ass in everything especially friendship and I must give a shout-out to Drew, Tom and Pete for the same thing. This is one of the few stories that there has been an emotional connection to the other characters in the book and not just the main.
I loved the book and I am looking forward to the rest of the series. Sing Your Heart Out has become one of my new favorite books and is on its way to becoming my new favorite series.

Miles and Meg

I got this from Amazon. I had read a book outside of the rock star books that Crystal writes. My sister raved about these books. I understand now why she loved them. I read all 8 that are out currently except I think the novella. This is the first book in the Sinful Serenade. Who does not love books about rock stars. This one is about Miles and he is the vocalist for the band. He meets Meg at a party her friend dragged her too. I think it is cute that he goes out of his way to make her blush. They kind of strike a bargain to be friends with benefits, but they set rules that neither of them can really stick too. They spend a lit of time fighting of course unless they are in bed together. So will Meg and Miles figure out their feeling or will just be another sad love song?
